There's gotta be an easier way to edit your posts. So, sure, if you enable the dubious pencil you can get to editing by
- clicking on it and ...waiting...... and then
- clicking again to post, and then
- clicking again to view blog.
Wouldn't that make people sleep better if they, having logged in, the author could start typing their edits directly (including label and date edits, the works), without ever having to leave their blog's front page? (Similarly, any logged in user could just start typing in their comments.) Sure, we'd keep the "Full Force" edit mode for some heavy duty coding, but for a quick revision, let's keep it all upfront. And how about dragging and dropping images and videos right on top of the posts to insert them?
