Camera, really obscura

The venerable S60 has turned purple couple of weeks ago. The image looks fine in the viewfinder but it is horribly distorted and purple. [Sample images coming]. Anyone else with the same issue? Is there no salvation? I know I've dropped it a couple of times, but the last drop was almost 7 months ago and it was working just fine until mid-November. What could have possibly gone wrong?
